Website Accessibility Policy

Everyone should be able to use our website to find a home, learn about our services, and get in touch with us. Last updated October 7, 2026.

Red Door Property Management is committed to making reddoorrents.com usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation.

The standard we work toward

Our goal is for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to perceive, operate, and understand for people with a wide range of disabilities.

We build new pages with these guidelines in mind, including:

  • Text and button colors chosen for readable contrast
  • Descriptive page titles, headings, and link text
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Form fields with visible labels
  • Pages that work with a keyboard as well as a mouse
  • Animations that respect your device's reduced-motion setting
  • Written transcripts for many of our videos

Where we may fall short

Accessibility is ongoing work, and some parts of the site may not fully meet our goal yet — for example, older blog videos without captions, some PDF documents, and interactive maps. When you need information that's in one of these, we're happy to provide it another way.

Some tasks happen on services run by other companies, such as our owner and resident portals (AppFolio), maintenance requests (Property Meld), pet and animal screening (PetScreening), embedded YouTube and Loom videos, and appointment scheduling (Calendly). We don't control the accessibility of those services, but if one of them is a barrier for you, contact us and we'll help you get the task done another way.

Get help or report a problem

If you have trouble using any part of this website, or you'd like information in a different format, please let us know. Tell us the page and what you were trying to do, and we'll work with you to provide the information or complete the task.

We aim to respond within two business days.

Housing accommodations are separate from this website. If you're an applicant or resident with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation or modification related to your home or the application process — including an assistance animal — contact us directly. See our Application Criteria for how assistance animals are handled.

Reviewing this policy

We review this policy and the site's accessibility at least once a year, and whenever we make significant changes to the website.
